Depois do dom\u00ednio absoluto de Tadej Pogacar no ano passado, a disputa pela maglia rosa tende a ser muito emocionante, com Primoz Roglic (Red Bull Bora) despontando com um ligeiro favoritismo.<\/p>\n<p>A largada ser\u00e1 in\u00e9dita. O Giro come\u00e7a na vizinha Alb\u00e2nia. Depois de muita confus\u00e3o sobre as garantias financeiras para receber o evento, o pequeno pa\u00eds dos Balc\u00e3s ter\u00e1 as tr\u00eas primeiras etapas em seu territ\u00f3rio. \u00c9 a 15\u00aa vez que o Giro d\u2019Italia come\u00e7a fora dos limites italianos. S\u00e3o 10.000m a mais do que no ano passado, entretanto, ainda \u00e9 menos do que normalmente o Giro prop\u00f5e. Este ano, a grande volta italiana contar\u00e1 com 38km de Gravel, incluindo as \u2018strade bianche\u2019 at\u00e9 Siena. E ser\u00e3o 42km de contrarrel\u00f3gio. O primeiro na Alb\u00e2nia e um na Toscana, com 28km, na 10\u00aa etapa, marcando a metade da briga pela maglia rosa.<\/p>\n<p>Vai percorrer a parte continental do pa\u00eds quase toda, com visitas r\u00e1pidas \u00e0 Eslov\u00eania e ao Vaticano. Passa por belos cen\u00e1rios da It\u00e1lia, como Puglia, Toscana e o Piemonte. O melhor, como sempre, est\u00e1 guardado para a \u00faltima semana. Repleta de montanhas.<\/p>\n<p>A mais alta delas, a Cima Coppi, ser\u00e1 o Col de la Finestre, com 2.178m de altitue. Lembra do Chris Froome em 2018? A etapa 20 deste ano repetir\u00e1 a mesma dobradinha Finestre\/Sestri\u00e8re. Torcer para a neve n\u00e3o obrigar mudan\u00e7as no tra\u00e7ado, pois ser\u00e1 o \u00faltimo grande embate antes do circuito final em Roma no domingo, dia 1 de junho. Sem Pogacar, o atual campe\u00e3o, o ciclista de 35 anos desponta como o mais forte do start list. Por\u00e9m, tem sempre contra ele a fama de se envolver em quedas e problemas mec\u00e2nicos. O susto que ele com a queda da corrente no Giro de 2023 foi um dos pontos mais marcantes daquela edi\u00e7\u00e3o. Mesmo que ali ele tenha tido um final feliz, pois conseguiu se sagrar campe\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Ao seu redor, Roglic ter\u00e1 uma equipe poderosa. Com o campe\u00e3o de 2022, o australiano Jai Hindley e o vice-campe\u00e3o do ano passao, o colombiano Dani Martinez, como fortes escudeiros. Ser\u00e1 a primeira vez que WVA correr\u00e1 a grande volta italiana.<\/p>\n<p>Ele j\u00e1 vestiu amarelo no Tour de France e estreou na Vuelta ano passado repetindo o feito. E, de quebra, ganhou tr\u00eas etapas. Por\u00e9m, caiu e machucou gravemente o joelho. Apesar de j\u00e1 estar competindo, ainda n\u00e3o reencontrei o frescor que viveu na Espanha ano passado. \u00c9 o objetivo dele nesta prova. Muita gente se encheu de esperan\u00e7a para o Giro deste ano. E o resultado pode ser uma disputa muito emocionante e, ao mesmo tempo, imprevis\u00edvel. Repleta de reviravoltas.<\/p>\n<p>Os italianos, por exemplo, n\u00e3o sobem ao p\u00f3dio em casa desde 2021. Ganharam apenas uma maglia rosa nas 10 \u00faltimas edi\u00e7\u00f5es. Foi em 2016, com Vincenzo Nibali.
